At first my audition seemed very scary. I practiced a lot ,especially the day of the audition. On the day of the audition my orchestra members and I talked about our Etudes,site-reading,snack,and scales and arpeggios. We practiced in classrooms and by the lockers.I made sure to mark my excerpts correctly and I made sure I practiced them correctly. I am very glad that I practiced site-reading,it helped me in the site reading portion.
As time went on I started to get nervous and tired. I ate more fruit and did some push-ups like the boy in the story Ms.Thompson told us. I really wish I had worked on my scales harder. During the audition I was really scared to make a mistake but I felt very prepared after the audition. I was anxious while waiting for the results but I did well and I’m proud of myself. : )
